Biden's Delusion Farewell Proves Why Trump's Win was Necessary

Wednesday night, President Joe Biden gave his final farewell to the nation, and it summed up his presidency: a hypocritical and delusional disaster. Biden uttered talking points like “respecting institutions,” and he dared to do it with a straight-squinted face.

“After 50 years at the center of all of this, I know that believing in the idea of America means respecting the institutions that govern a free society — the presidency, the Congress, the courts, a free and independent press.”

In what world did President Joe Biden show respect to the courts? Did he respect the courts when he gave his son a blanket pardon for crimes up to 11 years after claiming he wouldn’t? Did he respect the courts while he tried to undermine and then “reform” the Supreme Court because his party didn’t like the decisions of conservative Justices? Did he respect the courts when he openly bragged about defying the Supreme Court’s decision on student loan forgiveness? Did he respect the “free and independent press,” who now complain about how the White House aggressively pushed back against conversations regarding Biden’s mental decline?

Did Biden care about “the abuse of power” when his political opponent was investigated—the main reason for Trump’s first impeachment—and indicted by his DOJ? Biden even had the nerve to say the Department of Justice mistreated his son after they tried to give him a sweetheart deal.

Biden said, “In the past four years, our democracy has held strong.” It’s held longer than four years, Joe, and it was resoundingly strong when the American people stood against the Democrats’ switcheroo. He had the nerve to brag about creating “17 million” jobs, knowing he followed a global pandemic that required businesses to shut down. It feels as though Democrats were willing to crush the dreams and financial security of millions of Americans just to have this single talking point. He bragged about the courage of essential workers, knowing that he coerced them into either taking the COVID-19 vaccine or losing their jobs.

The disastrous Afghanistan exit did not receive a shout-out.

Then the speech became a warning about how the country was in danger of becoming an “oligarchy” ruled by the extremely wealthy. Mind you, Biden just awarded the Medal of Freedom to George Soros, who spent his money funding soft-on-crime woke prosecutors and DAs across the country. Biden also had nothing to say about Soros buying more than 200 radio stations across 40 markets, and the FCC fast-tracking the deal.

He talked about how everyone should “pay their fair share,” even though he pardoned his son for his tax crimes and spent his political career peddling influence and enriching his family.

The next part of the speech truly highlighted the necessity of Trump’s victory. Biden—who peddled a letter from 50 former intelligence officials to convince Americans his crackhead son’s real laptop was Russian propaganda—warned us all about the dangers of misinformation on the internet and how social media companies need to be held accountable to protect our children.

We can assume the “oligarchy” is Elon Musk, and the danger is X and Facebook since Mark Zuckerberg followed Musk’s free speech example and confessed to Joe Rogan that the government bullied his company repeatedly. Now, he wants to work with Donald Trump to promote free speech globally, and that’s a threat to Biden and the Democrats.

Interestingly enough, Biden did not brag about his historic bill that may permanently shut down TikTok, which is a cesspool of misinformation, content harmful toward children, and a national security threat. Why take the time to hypocritically and underhandedly criticize Musk, but not brag about his bipartisan bill? Perhaps it’s because millions of Americans are furious about losing their favorite app and losing an incredible source of their livelihood.

Biden did call for Americans to lead the development of AI rather than China, but that was all he had to say about our adversarial foe.

If Donald Trump had lost the 2024 election, censorship would have been on the horizon. Biden already tried to set up a “Disinformation Governing Board” within the Department of Homeland Security, but there was an incredible backlash against it and the tapped lead, Nina Jankowicz, and it fell apart. But Kamala Harris has a history of advocating for censorship against “hate speech” and “misinformation.” Hypocritically, Harris HQ (formerly Biden HQ) on X posted out-of-context videos of Trump and flat-out lies repeatedly on social media. They don’t care about “misinformation.” They care about how information is distributed.

It's hard to believe that Zuckerberg would have found the courage to promote free speech practices on Facebook if he had to stand against a more aggressive federal government. Big companies are signaling that DEI is out and meritocracy is in, but they’re not brave. They’re following the wave of culture, just like they did before.

Trump’s victory is a major pendulum swing back toward sanity. Is he a perfect guy? No. Do I love all of his policy prescriptions? No. But Biden and the Democratic establishment have been the threat he now warns Americans about. He would have been better off delivering his address to a mirror rather than a camera.
