Yes, There Is Evidence Tying Joe Biden to Hunter Biden's Business Dealings
/It’s certainly not a good look that the White House issued a memo urging news outlets to “ramp up its scrutiny of House Republicans for opening the impeachment inquiry based on lies,” but it’s even sadder that they don’t require such orders to take such actions.
There is widespread denial among mainstream media pundits and leftwing social media activists regarding President Joe Biden and whether there is evidence tying him to his son’s business dealings. But the truth is there is evidence—from a very compelling source—that the father was profiting off his son, just as the son was profiting off the father’s name: Hunter Biden himself.
In January 2009, Hunter Biden sent a text message to his daughter, Naomi. “I hope you all can do what I do and pay for everything for this entire family for 30 years. It’s really hard. But don’t worry, unlike Pop, I won’t make you give up half your salary.”
Philip Bump, a journalist for the Washington Post, defiantly shrugged when he was asked about the text message. “I have no idea what that means. I don’t.” Though he admitted it was, at least, circumstantial evidence. At the beginning of his appearance on the Comedy Cellar podcast, he admits the Hunter Biden story wasn’t a “nothing burger,” but the attempt to tie the father to the son is the “nothing burger.”
Another piece of compelling evidence from Hunter Biden is a message from his WhatsApp chat to Henry Zhao, a Chinese official associated with CEFC Infrastructure investment. “I am sitting here with my father and we would like to understand why the commitment made has not been fulfilled. Tell the director that I would like to resolve this now before it gets out of hand, and now means tonight. And, Z, if I get a call or text from anyone involved in this other than you, Zhang, or the chairman, I will make certain that between the man sitting next to me and every person he knows and my ability to forever hold a grudge that you will regret not following my direction. I am sitting here waiting for the call with my father.”
Photos from Hunter Biden’s laptop also place Hunter in Delaware on the same day as his text, and photos also place Joe Biden in Delaware two days before the text.
Within 10 days of the WhatsApp message, a subsidiary of CEFC wired $5 million to accounts linked to Hunter Biden.
Tony Bobulinkski, a former business partner of Hunter Biden, also claimed to have met with Joe Biden in May of 2017, in regard to a business deal with CEFC. He also confirmed Joe Biden was the “big guy” referenced in Hunter Biden’s business emails recovered from his laptop, and 10% from their venture was supposed to be allocated for him.
CNN’s David Chalian said, “We have not seen any evidence, hard evidence directly connecting wrongdoing on the part of then-Vice President Biden, now President Biden—and Hunter Biden’s business dealings or the ongoing Hunter Biden investigation.”
Well, if you’re expecting to see money directly deposited into Joe Biden’s bank account with a memo that says, “Bribe,” I don’t think anyone is expecting that to happen (though there is millions in unexplained income). However, there is evidence from a primary source of interest, and a lot of other questionable actions, such as attending dinner with Hunter’s business partners, taking phone calls, and being together in pictures.
The original talking point from Joe Biden was that he didn’t talk to his son about his business dealings. That was obviously not true. He also claimed his son didn’t get any money from China. That was a lie. Biden claimed Hunter’s laptop was Russian disinformation, which was an enormous lie. Now, the phrasing is Biden wasn’t in business with his son. There’s more wiggle room for him to work with after his major goalpost shift, but it remains true that evidence exists that father and son both profited from their little arrangement. Journalists simply lack the justifiable curiosity to ask questions about it and any time Biden is asked, he lashes out.
The oversight committee also revealed that on December 4, 2015, Eric Schwerin (a longtime Biden family business associate) contacted Kate Bedingfield in the Office of the Vice President (Bedingfield is now a contributor on CNN) for media outreach regarding Hunter’s role in Burisma, a Ukrainian oil and gas company. She responded later that day in the late afternoon, “VIP signed off on this.” According to Devon Archer’s testimony, Hunter Biden “called D.C.” after a Burisma board of directors meeting in Dubai (which would have taken place midday in Washinton D.C.).
The Republicans in the House are still investigating as they move toward impeachment, but it’s wrong to say there is no evidence or even compelling evidence. The demand of needing “direct evidence,” as opposed to mounting circumstantial evidence is a word game. The better question is whether there’s any sort of evidence the media or Democrats would accept. If the Biden White House can bomb an innocent aid worker and children in Afghanistan without anyone facing repercussions, an assumption starts to build that accountability simply doesn’t apply in the Biden White House. And based on the way the media coddles Biden, it’s not a bad assumption.
President Donald Trump was impeached for less. The media may not want Biden to be impeached, but they can at least acknowledge there is a reasonable trail of evidence for reasonable suspicions.
