The Diversity and Inclusion Myth

Americans across the country are celebrating with Kamala Harris, who has a mixed background and is on a trajectory to be the first female VP of the United States. But as we celebrate diversity and inclusion, I challenge everyone to remember this important fact: it’s a lie.

At the same time, Democrats are celebrating Kamala’s victory, they’re disgusted by Black Americans who gave their support to the president. Congresswoman Maxine Waters said she’d “never forgive” them. When 50 Cent said he was going to vote for Trump over Biden’s tax policies, his ex-girlfriend Chelsea Handler stated she had to “remind” 50 he was black while Jimmy Fallon smiled along. Ice Cube was attacked for merely meeting with Republicans over the Platinum Plan. “Candace Owens” is a new racial slur to the left, on par with Uncle Ruckus and Stephen from Django. I’ve personally been called all three by liberals. Joy Reid of MSNBC recently called Justice Clarence “Uncle Clarence,” as a reference to “Uncle Tom,” without any fear of repercussion.

Nicole Hannah Jones of The New York Times has a new purpose after Cubans voted for Trump: prove they’re a fake ethnic class.

In 2018, Bernie Sanders blamed the loss of Andrew Gillum and Stacey Abrams on the hesitancy of white voters to pull the lever for Black Americans, but he didn’t chastise the voters in Michigan for rejecting John James. Why is that? Why wouldn’t Bernie and other Democrats weep at the thought of a Black veteran missing his chance to serve his country? It’s because James doesn’t share their political ideology, which is totally fair and how they should determine their support. Unfortunately, the policies of Gillum and Abrams, like raising taxes and fighting school choice, never factored into the list of possible reasons why they lost.

When Hillary Clinton lost her election, it wasn’t due to her being the establishment, her foreign policy, or her plans. It was sexism (and Russian collusion, for a long while). Michelle Obama said women voted against their own interests. It’s not possible they simply preferred Trump’s policies?

Black leftists are also pushing an ideology that “skinfolk ain’t kinfolk,” meaning just because you have brown skin, doesn’t mean you’re truly black. Cheryl Dorsey, who is a retired Los Angeles Police Department sergeant, said that about Attorney General Daniel Cameron on MSNBC. Cameron was terribly berated by Democrats when he gave his RNC speech, and it only got worse after Breonna Taylor’s case drew to a close.

Ask Dave Rubin, Chad Felix Green, Peter Thiel, Richard Grenell, or Brandon Straka what it’s like to be gay with the “wrong opinion.” No one cares about your rainbow flag if it proudly flies toward the right.

When Senator Tim Scott gave a speech at the RNC about the progress of America and how his family moved from “cotton to Congress in one lifetime,” he wasn’t widely celebrated by his friends across the aisle. Scott has seen incredible persecution for his role in politics. It doesn’t matter if he has crucial roles in crafting tax cuts. When he’s put out in front to address the nation, he’s the “convenient black guy” to the media. Senator Scott crafted a police reform bill, and it was called a “token effort” by a Democrat colleague (who later apologized). But when Trump says something the media perceives as racially controversial, Scott’s opinion is the first they want.

When Nikki Haley admitted she experienced racism but America itself was not racist, she was met with backlash. It did not compute to the left.

But how could it? The New York Times launched The 1619 Project to redefine the nation’s founding to the day slave ships landed on our shores. Black Lives Matter marched in the streets, professing our authority figures were racist. Critical Race Theory is pushed in academia, business, and even the government. Chris Wallace described it at the presidential debate as “sensitivity training.” What it does, is teach white people are awful and Black Americans don’t have a true sense of agency, blaming woes on systemic racism rather than individual actions. It doesn’t matter if Jacob Blake allegedly digitally raped his ex-girlfriend, didn’t comply, and may have been reaching for a weapon. Kamala Harris and Joe Biden took his side over the cops, and told him they were proud.

The African American Museum was widely criticized over an infographic detailing signs of “whiteness.” They took down the graphics but kept up their site. What made their list? Attributes like rational thinking, being polite, believing in one God, and planning for the future, to name a few. Among Joe Biden’s list of first executive actions is to reinstate Critical Race Theory in the government.

Progress for women, gays, ethnic groups, and so on should be great news for everyone, but the victim lobby makes good money off the Oppression Olympics. It’s also politically convenient to use racial divisions. It didn’t matter that Jussie Smollett’s hate crime allegation was ridiculous. Politicians like Kamala Harris rallied behind him because it’s better for America to be seen as racist and to direct the root of the cause to Trump and his followers. Unfortunately, this wasn’t the only major hate hoax.

Millions of Americans decided to take part in history by electing Barrack Obama to the presidency, and many unwisely believed it would end racism. Instead of being able to fairly judge Obama off his policy and the “content of his character,” his race became a shield for his defenders. Valid criticisms of Obama were met with accusations of racism. If you’ve ever been in a debate with someone who believes President Trump is a genuine racist, the president’s dislike of his predecessor will eventually be mentioned.

In the 2018 midterms, Andrew Gillum played his race card to beat off valid criticisms of corruption during his race with Governor Ron DeSantis. Considering that Gillum was caught in a hotel with men and few bags of crystal meth, it’s good that Flordia voters were swayed by content and not guilted by racial games.

There’s plenty of racism in the United States, and I’ve personally experienced it from Democrats offended that I’m able to think for myself. Joe Biden, who claims his election is healing America and “we bent the arch of the moral universe towards justice,” also said African Americans don’t have diverse thoughts, and if I don’t vote for him, I “ain’t black.”

Democrats don’t value diversity if it’s not a weapon in their favor. Taylor Swift sobbed when Senator Marsha Blackburn won her race in 2018, ridiculously stating that Blackburn “represents no female interests.” Democrats don’t enjoy the fact Trump made gains in the Black, Hispanic, and Asian community. They don’t believe representation on both sides is good. Flashback to about four years ago when Kanye West, Steve Harvey, and other men marched into Trump Tower to meet the incoming president.

It was pure vitriol.

And this isn’t a matter of Trump being uniquely evil. Black Republicans were scorned in the days of Bush and Reagan, and they’ll be ridiculed long after Trump.

The left shames and demeans anyone who doesn’t conform to their groupthink.

I understand the world celebrating Kamala Harris, but if Mia Love, Condoleezza Rice, or Tim Scott had such a great honor, they’d be hailed as coons, not heroes of history. I’m grateful America made progress from the time my father was a boy, and obviously farther back from that. I love my country, and I believe it’s the greatest one on earth, but that isn’t the story we’ve been sold by the left. They believe America is a racist and terrible place, filled with awful people suffering from unconscious bias. The only way to heal our nation is to elect Democrats, even ones who didn’t want their children to grow up in “racial jungles.”
