Biden Owes Trump and Americans an Apology for His Political Propaganda

President Joe Biden began his address to the nation by stating, “We are not enemies.” This is dramatically different than terms like “maga extremists” or stating that Trump is the greatest threat to democracy, which Biden has stated over and over again. He pleaded with Americans to turn the temperature down, condemning acts of violence like the attack on Nancy Pelosi’s husband and the plot to kidnap Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer, yet Senator Rand Paul being attacked by his neighbor or harassed by BLM after leaving the 2020 RNC convention weren’t mentioned, and neither were the BLM riots, violent Pro-Palestinnian demonstrations, Antifa, or the assassination attempt of Justice Brett Kavanaugh. Even the Republican congressional baseball shooting was merely hinted at, by noting “members of both parties being targeted and shot.”

But the most devastating omission of Biden’s speech was his personal lack of accountability. It’s easy to tell the nation as a whole that we need to change our political rhetoric, but it’s irresponsible to not acknowledge Biden is one of the greatest perpetrators.

Why did Joe Biden claim to run for office in 2020? Charlottesville, but everything he says about this decision is a lie. There’s evidence of Biden contemplating running long after Charlottesville, and he simply wasn’t going to run unless he could see a path to victory. The claim that former President Donald Trump called neo-Nazis “very fine people” was his springboard. Of course, it wasn’t true. Trump denounced and totally condemned neo-Nazis in the very same presser Biden cites, yet he persisted with the lie. He even repeated it on the debate stage last month, even though it had been debunked by Snopes and Jake Tapper, who was a moderator.

Biden’s team has cut ads stating Trump claimed he would be a dictator and there would be a “bloodbath” if he lost the election. Trump did jokingly say he’d be a dictator for one day, specifically about immigration. In other words, he was going to enact swift executive orders like Remain in Mexico, a policy Joe Biden swiftly eradicated via executive order. The “bloodbath” remarks were about the economic repercussions of the automotive industry, and the meaning is very clear. The media, such as Biden’s former Press Secretary Jen Psaki, don’t want it to be about economics, but their desire for Trump to be violent doesn’t change reality.

Biden ran racially divisive ads about how Trump hates black people and called for the execution of the Central Park 5, which Trump never did in his ad. On the anniversary of our nation’s independence, Biden’s team tweeted out a photo of what they believed Trump’s America would bring: a dystopian fantasy like The Handmaiden’s Tale.

The reason why President Joe Biden, the Democrats, the media, influencers, and activists have to lie about Trump is because they don’t genuinely fear him. They fear the American people and what they will do if they are armed with the truth. Biden has no reason to fear a Boogieman that he created. If the real Donald Trump was scary enough, the propaganda would be unnecessary. If Trump’s policies are dangerous enough, Biden would focus on Agenda 47 instead of Project 2025, a 900-page document Trump certainly hasn’t read. I doubt Biden has either.

Biden and the Democrats fear losing power. If they cared about “protecting democracy,” they would want an informed public to make decisions about what and who is best for the country. The reason why we are not a pure democracy is because sheep are easy to herd, and the minority must be protected from majority tyranny.

It was disturbing to watch deranged influencers, young and old, weep and rage over the fact the assassin’s bullets failed to kill former President Donald Trump. But if they truly believe that Trump is like or worse than Hitler, Stalin, Mussolini, and other historical tyrants, it makes sense that they’d be angry that our nation was so close to being saved from its literal end. If you were brainwashed into believing Trump is a neo-Nazi who is going to end our country and lead a bloodbath if he loses the election, why wouldn’t you want him taken out? If you believe he can use Seal Team 6 to kill his political opponents and have been preaching that he’s going to use his presidency to enact revenge, why wouldn’t you want him gone?

But it’s interesting how many pundits and politicians, who pretended Trump would be the end of everything, are glad “literally Hitler” is alright.

Our country is extremely unwell, and Biden is at the center of its’ mental illness. Trump and the Right can also use heated language, but it’s not comparable. You cannot spread lies like the “bloodbath” hoax or the “very fine people” hoax without doing serious damage to the nation—not just to Trump.

Biden claims he wants to “heal the soul of the nation,” but he is responsible for soiling it with hatred and bitterness. And for what? To win more power. Biden can’t win on policies. He has a 32% approval rating, and millions of Americans believe they were living better under Trump. He shows no signs of wanting to meaningfully improve the border, little sympathy is shown toward the economic plight of Americans because his administration wants to push that the economy is a roaring success, and his social policies are deeply disturbing. On top of all that, he’s incredibly frail and makes America look frail. If Biden wasn’t such a terrible leader, Americans would look past his age. Instead, Americans will look past the January 6 riot and Trump’s election claims because, at the end of the day, Biden isn’t good at his job.

This election is not a referendum on Trump. It’s a referendum on Biden.

Biden once said, “Donald Trump is a genuine threat to this nation. He’s a threat to our freedom. He’s a threat to our democracy. He’s literally a threat to everything America stands for.”

Trump has been impeached twice without committing any crime, faced multiple indictments, convicted on 34 counts of nonsense that Andrew Cuomo (the former Attorney General and former Governor of New York) acknowledged would have never been brought against someone other than Trump, opposed nonstop by the media, spied on by the former administration, investigated by special councils, kicked from social media, and voted out of office. He is no threat to democracy.

The threat is what everyone is willing to do to destroy one man. Biden has acted beneath the dignity of his office, and while the lecture to Americans is much needed, he also has no place to deliver it without acknowledging at least three of his fingers are pointing back at him.
